The walls in the basement of this home showed major signs of foundation problems. The home owners were starting to get extremely worried of the integrity of their home and desperately needed a solution to the problem, and fast. After seeing a commercial on TV for ITG Basement Systems, they decided to give us a call and set up an appointment to have the home evaluated.
We sent our Systems Design Specialist, Phil Williams, out to the home for a free inspection for the owners. Phil inspected the foundation walls and floor inside and outside and knew how this problem could be stopped in its tracks. He proposed to the home owners, that having CarbonArmor Strips installed on the basement walls would be the answer to this nightmare of a problem. The home owners loved the idea and design of the CarbonArmor and picked a date of install right then with Phil.
The crew arrived at the home ready to get to work. The Patented CarbonArmor System will permanently stabilize the foundation walls using fiber-reinforced polymers, which are 10 times stronger than steel! They are also flexible enough to fit flush and tight against your wall for total stabilization. This is a very non-invasive way to secure your foundation walls. The home owners loves the new system installed and feel safe and satisfied with the work performed on the foundation.
The homeowners of this residence in Harrisburg had a typical nasty crawlspace. They wanted some advice on how to take care of this problem. The owners had been experiencing a loss in energy and also an overwhelming amount of humidity and also some settling. They called ITG basement systems to come out and evaluate the crawlspace.
ITG sent Systems Design Specialist, Phil Williams, to the scene for evaluation. Phil determined that a full crawlspace encapsulation, with a new crawlspace door, a Sedona dehumidifier and smart jacks was what this home needed for the perfect solution. Phil wrote up the contract and the home owners were thrilled to finally have a solution.
The crew showed up to complete the project and got right to work. The encapsulation is performed with our patented product called CleanSpace. It is made of a heavy 20 millimeter thick liner, much like a pool liner. It is very high in density that resists punctures and tears, yet still extremely flexible. It helps create warmer floors and resist mold growth. The Smart jacks were installed in the crawlspace to secure the home's foundation and walls. And a Sani Dry Sedona was installed to keep the humidity and moisture at its lowest point.
The home owners were happy to have the new system installed and feel much better now that they've preserved their home.
